Farmers are struggling to find water for crops. They are drilling wells which in turn are causing the collapse of the soil. This may damage infrastructures like bridges.
If that wasn’t enough California’s famed Sequoia trees are dying at an alarming rate because of the drought. In the north, California’s vineyards are in peril because of wildfires.
Perhaps discussions about building more dams will resolve the water shortage. Environmentalists are skeptical.
